General > Payments > Invoices > All Invoices > Dashboard Overview
At the top of your All Invoice area, you can see a small dashboard with 4 cards. For each of these, you are able to see the total sum of your invoices for the associated status (Draft, Due, Received, and Overdue).
Beneath the dashboard summary, you are able to use the search & filter bar to restrict what invoices display in your quick view. You can restrict by the following:
Date - Set a start and end date for when an invoice was first issued.
Search - Search for terms associated with the invoice, such as the invoice name, customer name, or invoice number.
Filter Status - Search for invoices with a certain status type.
Payment Mode - Filter out either test or live invoices. As a default, your invoices should be set to live mode; however, if doing some troubleshooting, you can enable test mode to prevent payment from actually being processed.
In this area, you also have the ability to export your invoices into a CSV. This CSV will display the information that is displayed in the quick view for your filtered invoices.
Below the search and filter area, you have your quick view. This area gives details associated with your invoices and displays the invoices that you have filtered for.
Invoice name - The name that you gave to your invoice.
Invoice number - A unique number associated with only that invoice. These will be sequential by way of when an invoice was first created (rather than issued) unless you make a manual modification to it.
Customer - The customer associated with the invoice (can be blank if in draft mode).
Issue Date - The date the invoice was moved past the draft stage (typically to the sent stage, but can be other stages if done manually).
Amount - The total value for which the invoice is issued for, taking into account all products included within and any discounts given.
Status - The current status of the invoice.
Actions menu - A menu that allows you to make manual actions with the invoice.
For each invoice, there will be a status associated with it, either draft, sent, overdue, payment processing, paid, partially paid, or void. For each invoice, you can see the status under the quick view status column. In addition, when searching for an invoice, you can use the filters to filter by invoice status to find invoices with a particular status.
Draft - An invoice that you have created but not yet sent. All manually created invoices start as drafts and remain that way until you associate a contact with them, and either send the invoice or manually move them to a different status.
Sent - Invoices that have been created, but which have not yet lapsed the due date and for which payment has not yet been received or recorded.
Overdue - Invoices that have been created and which have exceeded their due date, but for which payment has not been received or recorded.
Payment Processing - Invoices that have been created and sent to their contact, and for which payment details have been submitted, but not yet fully processed. This stage should only occur for a brief time. If you are noticing that an invoice appears to be frozen in the payment processing stage, please reach out to [email protected] for assistance.
Paid - Invoices that have been created and which have had payment either received or recorded.
Partially Paid - Invoices that have been created and which have had payment either received or recorded for an amount less than what the full invoice was issued for.
Void - Invoices that were created but were later manually voided to mark them as no longer eligible to be completed.
