At the top of your task area, you have quick filters, allowing you to see certain tasks at a glance including:
All - Displays all tasks within your instance.
Due Today - Displays all tasks with the due date set to the current date.
Overdue - Displays all tasks for which the due date has elapsed.
Upcoming - Displays all tasks that have due dates in the future.
Below your quick filter area, you have advanced filters which allow you to granularly select which types of tasks you want to see. Included in these filters are:
Assignee - Allows you to filter tasks by the user assigned to that task.
Status - Allows you to filter by the status, either complete or pending, of the task.
Due date - Allows you to search for a range of time in which the task is due.
Advanced Filters - Allows you to search for additional filters, including words used in the title or description, associated contacts, and for the ranges of time when a task was initially created or updated.
Sort - Allows you to choose in what order the tasks will display.
Search - Allows you to search for words used in the title of the task.
Manage fields - Allows you to enable and disable what info displays in the columns beside the task.
