Notifications Settings

Appointment booked (status: unconfirmed) - Triggers a notification when an appointment is booked and the status is unconfirmed - if the auto-confirm new meetings setting is enabled this trigger will never occur.

Appointment booked (status: confirmed) - Triggers a notification when an appointment is booked and the status is confirmed - if the auto-confirm new meetings setting is enabled this trigger will always trigger once an appointment is booked. If auto-confirm new meetings setting is not enabled, this will trigger once you manually confirm the meeting.

Cancellation - This triggers a notification when an appointment is canceled. If the Allow Cancellation of Meeting setting (see below) is not enabled this trigger will never fire.

Reschedule - This triggers a notification when the appointment is rescheduled. If the Allow Rescheduling of Meeting setting (see below) is not enabled this trigger will never fire.

Reminder - This triggers a notification for a specified amount of time prior to the appointment.

Follow-Up - This triggers a notification for a specific amount of time following the appointment.

Notification Settings Editor

Using the pencil on any of the notification settings, you can open the editor which allows the following settings.

Email disabled/enabled - Allows you to disable/enable email notifications. You can then use check marks to enable and disable specific notifications to different individuals.

Email settings - Once you have clicked into one of the individual types (contacts, assigned users, guests, or additional emails) you’ll be able to customize the notification email, including choosing a template, subject, body text, what name and email address the email will come from, and in the case of additional emails allowing you to set which emails receive the notification.

In the case of reminder and follow-up notifications, you can also specify when you would like the notification to trigger.

In-app notifications - Allows you to enable and disable in-app notifications and set which users should be notified.

Additional Settings

Allow Google / Outlook Calendar to send invitations & update emails to attendees - This field allows Google and/or Outlook to provide an invitation to the contact directly in their calendar. In addition, if you make edits to the event this enable Google and/or Outlook to send notifications about updates to the meeting (such as a changed meeting time).

Assign contacts to their respective calendar team members each time an appointment is booked - This field causes the assigned user for a contact to be updated to whichever user they have booked with.

Allow rescheduling of meeting - Enables/disables the ability for the contact to reschedule the meeting and allows you to set an expiration time for the rescheduling link.

Keep in mind that you will either want to provide the rescheduling link in a notification email or in the additional notes field (see below) if you want the contact to be able to reschedule. The shortcode for a rescheduling link is .

Allow cancellation of meeting - Enables/disables the ability for the contact to cancel the meeting and allows you to set an expiration time for the cancelation link.
